Trumpet
He was born in Rome and he starts attending trumpet lessons at the age of 12.
Under the guidance of Professor Nino Culasso, he studies at the conservatory “L. Refice” in Frosinone, where he graduate with excellent marks. After refining his trumpet studies under the guidance of Mike Appelbaum, he discovers having a passion for light music and he starts attending jazz courses held by Danilo Terenzi, Alberto Corvini, Gianni Oddi, Gerardo Iacoucci.
He works in Big Band formations with some famous musicians such as Claudio and Mario Corvini, M. Pirone, A. Bassi, R. Giuliani.
Between 1989 and 1994 he performs in jazz, funky and blues group working with artists such as C. Cannon, Harbie Gois, Jioe Slomp, Fulvio Tomino, Mimmo Locasciulli, Toni Esposito, Claudio Baglioni, Michele Zarrillo, Mike Francis, Le Chic, Kool and the Gang, Joe Cocker’s supporting band.
He performs in Rai TV shows as an orchestra member (“Alla ricerca dell’Arca” hosted by Mino Damato, ecc.)
He has experience in recording studios and in Latin American music bands. In 1992 he wins a competitive examination to teach musical education. At present he is a classic and modern trumpet teacher.
